Terzaken of Allen & Overy set to speak at GCR Antitrust Law Leaders Forum
Allen & Overy partner John Terzaken will be a speaker at this year’s GCR Live third annual Antitrust Law Leaders Forum in Miami on 7 and 8 February.
Terzaken will debate ‘Multijurisdictional criminal prosecution: double jeopardy or sovereign right?’ with regulators and other leading experts. The debate will examine the pros and cons of criminal prosecutions in multiple countries for the same act.
His substantial criminal antitrust experience includes having presided over some of the largest global cartel investigations undertaken by the US Department of Justice before joining Allen & Overy’s Washington practice to lead its cartel defence practice in the US.
