Taylor Wessing advises Electra Partners on acquisition of Allen & Heath
Taylor Wessing’s private-equity group has advised Electra Partners on the acquisition of mixing console manufacturer Allen & Heath from D&M Holdings.
A total of £43m of equity and debt was provided by Electra Private Equity and Allen & Heath’s management.
Founded in 1969, Allen & Heath designs and manufactures audio mixing consoles for live sound, such as concerts, theatres and houses of worship. Its existing team and distribution networks will remain in place.
Taylor Wessing’s Martin Winter, private-equity partner, and Nick Hazell, head of private equity, led the corporate team along with associates Kate Singer, Jonny Bethell and Lowri Hardcastle.
Debt finance advice was provided by Ross Caldwell, Lerika Joubert and Gabriel Estevez; Richard Carson and James Stewart advised on tax; Patrick Clark, Andrew Dentice and Adam Rendle advised on technology and intellectual property aspects; Emma Zarb and Declan Bradley provided employment input; and Emma Oakley led on real estate.
