Taylor Wessing advises bank on further shipping finance transactions
Having already advised one ship financing bank on the implementation of a recapitalisation platform for several ships, Taylor Wessing has acted for a bank on further finance transactions.
These further transactions concerned the financings of the acquisition and refinancing of two bulk carriers by a shipping company.
While one of these transactions was one of the few real new financings by German banks in a market that is still suffering from a shipping crisis, the second transaction consisted of a refinancing.
The Taylor Wessing team included Hamburg partners Dr Oliver Rossbach (finance) and Dr Stephan R Göthel (corporate) and associate Dr Felix Keinath.
