Our Tax Law practice assists both a domestic and international clientele composed of national and multinational corporations, industrialists and financial institutions, fund promoters, sponsors and investors in private equity and real-estate transactions.
Our lawyers and advisers provide tailor-made tax advice and innovative solutions to your tax problems and develop tax-efficient structures for corporate and finance transactions. We also perform the related tax due diligences.
We have in-depth experience in working in co-operation with foreign tax advisers to implement multi-jurisdictional surveys or transactions. Furthermore, we offer a wide range of tax compliance services, from VAT registration to the filing of tax returns (corporate tax returns, annual VAT returns, periodical VAT returns and so on.). Our team can also assist you during audits by Luxembourg tax authorities and in the verification of data reporting.
The expertise of our tax lawyers and advisers efficiently complements the services offered in the other practice areas of our firm. We work in close collaboration with the Banking and Financial Services practice on banking and finance matters and with the Bank Lending and Structured Finance practice on structured finance, asset finance, securitisation and leasing.
Our co-operation with the Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions practice covers mergers and acquisitions, company reorganisations or private equity transactions. We assist our colleagues from the Regulated Investment Funds practice on the tax structuring of investment vehicles, in particular of real-estate structures. We are also regularly involved in litigation matters handled by our colleagues from the Dispute Resolution practice and assist the team from the Employment Law, Pensions and Benefits team in fringe benefits and executive compensation schemes.
