Partner Michael Stevens is head of commercial at Walker Morris. His practice covers the full range of commercial law advice. Stevens is particularly well known for advising on complicated contractual arrangements, such as outsourcings, IT implementations and contractual joint ventures.
Recognised in Legal 500 as a named individual — able to ‘distil complexity into simple facts and decisions’ — Stevens’ no-nonsense approach draws upon his valuable in-house experience with several private sector clients including Kelda Group (formerly Yorkshire Water) and Northern Foods (now part of 2 Sisters group).
He has more than 15 years’ experience in advising international businesses on their UK and European legal requirements.
Stevens heads the commercial team and the IT practice. He is a member of Walker Morris’s food and drink team and the International Committee, with a specific focus on the US and Ireland.
