Shoosmiths shortlisted twice for Credit Today Debt Collection Awards 2013
Shoosmiths has been shortlisted in two categories for the Credit Today Debt Collection Awards 2013, with its recoveries service group (RSG) up for Best Customer Initiative and Compliance Team of the Year.
Its Best Customer Initiative submission centres on the initiative it has developed to ensure it treats fairly those client customers who are considered vulnerable.
Judges will be looking for a breakthrough or innovation that furthers ‘a supportive approach to debtors suffering from genuine financial hardship’.
RSG head of compliance Diane Forster is behind the Compliance Team of the Year entry, for which judges will consider evidence of success in several areas, including customer/client satisfaction; adherence to regulatory best practice and guidelines; good management and HR practices; and technical, process and systems performance.
Shoosmiths will find out if it is has won at a ceremony held at Manchester’s Midland Hotel on 13 November.
