Shoosmiths appoints senior associate to Edinburgh employment team
Shoosmiths has hired Kenny Scott, who has expertise and specific experience of advising clients in a number of sectors, including regulatory and compliance, education, sports governance, retail, food and drink and manufacturing.
Joining from McClure Naismith, Scott is praised by clients for his ‘knowledge and responsiveness’ and was named as ‘Associate to Watch’ in Chambers 2014.
He specialises in handling senior terminations, corporate support including TUPE and complex restructuring and insolvency matters and the design and delivery of bespoke client training on issues such as equal opportunities training for managers and dealing with capability and absence issues.
Scott also regularly advises on day-to-day employment matters ranging from providing practical advice on handling disciplinary and grievance issues to planning and implementing restructuring and redundancy projects.
He is also an experienced litigator who regularly appears on behalf of clients at employment tribunals.
