Stephenson Harwood has appointed Sean Angle as a corporate and projects partner in its Dubai office. He joins the law firm from DLA Piper Middle East, where he has been regional head of finance and projects since 2011.

Angle was previously regional head of corporate at Reed Smith in Dubai.

He has nearly 27 years of experience as a lawyer in four different jurisdictions, with 23 of those years based in the Middle East. Angle has worked on a variety of internal corporate and government investigations, large project arbitration disputes, initial public offerings, the drafting of laws and the structuring of regional corporate vehicles for multinational businesses.

His expertise extends to the Oman market and he has previously engaged with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Sultanate of Oman to completely review and redraft the Oman Commercial Companies Law.
