Schoenherr advises Laakman Holding on increase of participation in C-QUADRAT
Schoenherr has advised Laakman Holding Ltd on the increase of its participation in the listed fund company C-QUADRAT Investment AG from 9.4 per cent to 18.4 per cent. Through this transaction, Laakman became the core shareholder of C-QUADRAT.
The increase of the participation was effected through the acquisition of a shareholdings from Alexander Svoboda Privatstiftung, Christian Mayer Privatstiftung, Michael Neubauer Privatstiftung and from further individuals as well as of treasury shares of C-QUADRAT.
The transaction could be completed on 7 August 2014 upon approval by the Australian financial market authority (FMA).
The Schoenherr team consisted of Christian Herbst (partner, corporate/M&A) and Maximilian Lang (attorney at law, corporate M&A).
The sellers were represented by Hausmaninger Kletter Rechtsanwälte-Gesellschaft m.b.H.
