We add value by combining an intimate knowledge of each client’s business with creativity and passion.
Our projects team has a wealth of experience in the construction, delivery and operation of projects within the natural resources sector including those in respect to oil, gas and mining. We are able to provide advice in respect to the full lifecycle of your project from new country entry and licence acquisition, exploration, joint venture structuring, facility development and operations, production, transportation and offtake along with decommissioning and reclamation.
We are experienced in the drafting, negotiation and interpretation of a wide variety of project contracts, including the LOGIC suite of oil and gas service agreements, the Oil & Gas UK pro formas and precedents used internationally, such as those provided by the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and the Australian Mineral and Petroleum Law Association (AMPLA). We also undertake more specialised services such as unitisation and redeterminations, transportation and processing agreements, capital lease structures and royalty agreements.
The team is part of the Natural Resources Sector group and works closely with our Commercial Contracts, M&A and Dispute Resolution groups to provide industry-specific advice in respect to market practice in those areas. We are able to provide our clients with a robust suite of development, operating and offtake agreements that can be packaged seamlessly by our Corporate team to access equity finance, providing a one-stop-shop approach from a firm that is recognised by leading legal publications for its work in projects, energy and natural resources and whose quality is trusted by clients, brokers and investors alike.
Memery Crystal is a member of Oil & Gas UK, AMPLA and the AIPN. We actively participate in industry consultations and debate in order that we may be able to advise our clients on latest developments and foresee changes in legislation or best practice within the industries in which we service.
