Pillsbury appoints patent litigator Steven Moore as partner in San Diego IP practice
Steven Moore, a patent litigator with a client base of companies in the electronics and wireless communications space, has joined Pillsbury as a partner in the San Diego intellectual-property (IP) practice.
Moore, who joins from Goodwin Proctor, anticipates bringing on board a team of three IP litigation attorneys.
A registered patent attorney with a PhD in electrical engineering, Moore is experienced in handset, software and telecommunication technologies, as well as software code. He manages the litigation portfolios and technology strategies for several well-known companies.
Prior to his legal career, Moore served as the director of IP and regulatory affairs for a technology company in San Diego.
He has represented clients in various proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission and served as a technical adviser and member of the US Delegation to the International Telecommunications Union.
Moore has also served on the US state department’s International Telecommunications Advisory Committee (ITACT), Standardizations Sector, as an industry expert.
