Ogier named Commercial Litigation Law Firm of the Year in Guernsey 2013
Ogier has been named Commercial Litigation Law Firm of the Year in Guernsey 2013 by Corporate International.
The awards recognise those who have been active over the past 12 months and who have shown excellence in both expertise and service. A panel of judges comprising senior industry professionals drew up a shortlist of contenders and determined that Ogier was the winner.
The law firm’s litigation team consists of nine lawyers, including partner Mathew Newman. Matters advised on by the team include continuing to advise the defendants in the largest piece of litigation ever seen in Guernsey — the Carlyle Capital Corporation case — as well as striking out in its entirety Guernsey’s first derivative action.
