Ogier joins with charities to support Jersey women's return to work
A team of female lawyers from Ogier’s Jersey litigation group have joined together with two local charities, Brighter Futures and Jersey Women’s Refuge, to help provide professional work wear and support for women who are returning to work.
The team at Ogier is holding a ‘Glamour & Goodness’ event on 21 November, which will see a large number of Ogier’s Jersey-based female clients donate clothing to the two local charities, which will then distribute the clothing to the local women who are seeking assistance in their return to work.
The event is also being held to help promote local Jersey businesses that have been set up and are run by women. Ogier is providing more than 30 businesses with a platform at the event to sell their products and to market their services.
These businesses cover a variety of products including jewellery, art, florists, textiles, sculpture, glass, furniture, antiques, handbags, food and household products.
