No5 Chambers’ Michael Burrows QC secures conviction in ‘brutal’ murder
No5 Chambers’ Michael Burrows QC has secured the conviction of Patryk Srutkowski, 22, and Pawel Bugajski, 22, who have been found guilty and jailed for life for killing Hama Faraj Noori, 56, at his home in Uppingham Gardens, The Meadows.
Mr Noori was found dead at his home by two of his friends on 25 January 2014. He was killed by Srutkowski and Bugajski after drinking with them that evening.
Sentencing, Judge Gregory Dickinson QC told the pair that the murder was ‘brutal and remorseless’. They will have to serve a minimum of 25 years before being considered for parole.
