No5 Chambers enters teams in sponsored walks to raise money for legal support trusts
No5 Chambers has entered teams in both the London and Midland Legal Walks, which are set to take place on 19 May 2014. The 10km-long walks will raise money for the London Legal Support Trust and the Midland Legal Support Trust.
The London walk is now in its 10th year and will start at Carey Street, just off Chancery Lane, ending in the same location with a street party. The lead walkers this year include the lord chief justice, the president of the Supreme Court, the master of the rolls, the attorney-general, the DPP and leads of the Bar Council, the Law Society and CILEx.
The London walk team includes Richard Jones QC, Victoria Yates, Kevin Leigh, Martin Ellis, Jessica Smeaton, Richard Hignett, Hashi Mohamed, Mamta Gupta, James Tucker, Robert Woods, Victoria Hutton and Caroline Jennings. Click here to sponsor the team.
The Birmingham walk is in its fifth year. The route is a 10km stroll around the sights of Birmingham, ending with drinks, nibbles and networking. This year’s lead walkers are Mr Justice Foskett and Mrs Justice King.
