Mourant Ozannes leads offshore law firm FTSE rankings in ARL guide
Mourant Ozannes advises more FTSE-listed companies than any other offshore law firm, according to the latest set of ratings published by the Adviser Rankings Ltd (ARL) Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide.
Recognised for advising 14 FTSE-listed companies — four FTSE 100 and 10 FTSE 250 clients — the firm also places top of all offshore firms in terms of the value of its listed clients with a total market capitalisation of more than £113bn, more than double that of the second-placed offshore firm.
When compared with all UK law firms, Mourant Ozannes was placed 15th for the total number of stock market clients (51) and 14th in terms of market capitalisation.
The Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide from ARL is the successor to the Hemscott Rankings Guide and the Morningstar All-Market Rankings Guide. It is published quarterly in February, May, August and November.
It ranks the top 20 auditors, financial advisers, financial PR companies, law firms, registrars and stockbrokers by the total number of UK quoted clients, the total number of FTSE 100 clients, the total number of FTSE 250 clients, the total number of small-cap/fledgling clients and the total number of AIM clients.
