The acquisition brings together four heritage brands: Baldwin’s, Dreweatts, Bloomsbury and Stanley Gibbons.
The cash element of the acquisition was funded by a fully underwritten share placing by Peel Hunt on behalf of Stanley Gibbons, which raised approximately £40m.
The Mourant Ozannes team, which comprised partner James Hill, managing associate Matthew Shaxson and associate Andrew Salisbury, worked alongside Stanley Gibbons’ English counsel Lawrence Graham LLP.
