Minter Ellison tax partner honoured as best in her field in Australasia at Euromoney awards
Minter Ellison partner Karen Payne has been named Best in Tax in Australasia at the Euromoney Australasia Women in Business Law Awards, which were held in Sydney.
According to the firm, the award recognises not only her track record of work, but also her advocacy in the area of tax reform and her mentoring role to help promote women’s participation and advancement in tax, a sector that has traditionally had lower levels of female involvement.
Additionally, Minter Ellison was named as the leader in Sydney for female lawyers, while Minter Ellison Rudd Watts received the award for the Best Mentoring Program by an Australasian Firm.
