Minter Ellison named Insurance Law Firm of the Year at AB F Insurance Awards
For the second year in a row, Minter Ellison has been named Insurance Law Firm of the Year at the 11th annual AB F Insurance Awards in Sydney. The awards honour and celebrate the best in the insurance industry and their achievements during the past year.
Minter Ellison’s insurance practice is one of the largest in Australia, comprising close to 130 specialist lawyers, and has teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Darwin and the Gold Coast.
The AB F Insurance Awards highlighted work undertaken by the national insurance team during 2012 and 2013, including strategic insurance advice for the NSW government’s AUD5.071bn (£3bn) refinancing of Port Botany and Port Kembla, and acting for various parties involved in the many catastrophic natural disasters that hit Australia and the Asia-Pacific region during the past 12 months.
