Minter Ellison has advised the founding shareholder of Zip Industries, Mr Michael Crouch AO, on the majority shareholding taken in the company by Quadrant Private Equity.
Zip Industries manufactures instant boiling water systems.
The transaction is commercially focused on allowing the Zip business to move into its next stage of growth, including developing more export options, while retaining its Australian base.
Minter Ellison advised primarily on the structuring and negotiation of the transaction. The Crouch family will retain a major shareholding in the business.
