Minter Ellison-advised coal deal wins China Law & Practice deal-of-the-year award
The AUD8bn (£4.6bn) merger of Gloucester Coal and Yancoal Australia — the Australian arm of China’s Yanzhou Coal Mining — has been named 2013 Energy and Resources Deal of the Year by China Law & Practice. Minter Ellison advised Gloucester Coal in the complex transaction.
