Memery Crystal acts for MPayMe on acquisition by Powa Technologies
Memery Crystal has acted for mobile payment provider MPayMe on its acquisition by UK-based Powa Technologies for an undisclosed sum.
The merger will see Powa and MPayMe operate as a single global entity under the Powa brand to bring in a new class of universal mobile payment reaching customers and merchants across Europe, Asia and the US.
Founded in 2010 and based in Hong Kong, MPayMe is the developer of e-commerce platforms including ZNAP, a multi-factor, secure and comprehensive payment solution, bundled with software and applications to manage payments across various physical, online and billing channels.
The Memery Crystal team included corporate partner Lesley Gregory, corporate director Nick Alfille, corporate senior associate Caitlin Malloy and corporate solicitor Kate Seabourne, as well as tax partner Tim Crosley and tax solicitor Jessica Gibbs.
