Philip Le Cornu is a partner of the Ogier Group and a group director within Ogier Fiduciary Services. He has global responsibility for the private wealth businesses, which comprises of the private wealth, probate, family office and investments teams in Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman, BVI and Hong Kong.
Le Cornu was a barrister at St. Philip’s Chambers from 1992 before joining Ogier in 2000. He qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2002 and become a partner of Ogier in 2007.
After advising on the legal aspects of trust structures for nine years, he moved into Ogier Fiduciary Services in 2009 to lead Ogier Private Wealth and take responsibility for the provision of administration services to private client structures across all of the Ogier offices.
As well as having responsibility for the service line, Le Cornu acts on a number of client structures for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Jersey Law Society and the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple of England.
Private Client Practitioner recognised Le Cornu as a leading practitioner in the private client profession in its 50 Most Influential 2012.
