Law360 names Hogan Lovells’ Catrain, Mason and Katyal on MVP of the Year list
Hogan Lovells has announced that partners Lourdes Catrain, Michael Mason and Neal Katyal have been named on this year’s Law360 MVP of the Year list, which recognises elite lawyers’ exceptional work in litigation or transactions between October 2012 and October 2013.
Catrain, director of Hogan Lovells’ international trade and investment practice in Europe, was recognised for her success in securing a victory in a high-profile economic sanctions case before the General Court of the European Union and her involvement in Europe’s largest-ever trade dispute (solar products from China).
Mason, a partner in the firm’s government contracts practice, received commendation for his success in securing numerous victories for the firm’s government contracts clients, specifically including serving as lead counsel in several high-profile bid protest actions.
Katyal, co-director of the appellate practice group and former acting solicitor general of the US, was lauded for his work before the Supreme Court (including arguing six cases in 14 months) as well as his activity in the appeal courts.
