King & Wood Mallesons secures place on MOFCOM’s inaugural legal panel
King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has secured a place on the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China’s inaugural legal panel and was the only firm to have won places on both the international and PRC sub-panels for international investment.
It is the first time MOFCOM has formalised its procedures on instructing external counsel and has established a formal procurement panel, which consists of two sub-panel lists: international investment and world trade organisation; and regional trade agreements dispute resolution.
KWM was also one of the PRC firms appointed to the WTO and RTA dispute resolution sub-panel.
