King & Wood Mallesons advises Beihai Port on major assets restructuring
King & Wood Mallesons has advised Beihai Port on its major assets restructuring to integrate Fangcheng Port, Qinzhou Port and Beihai Port into ‘One Port’.
Beihai Port will integrate the port resources of Beibu Gulf Group, get three ports assets of Beibu Gulf listed and provide consolidated support to the new strategic development of Beibu Gulf in Guangxi Economic Zone.
As a port that mainly engages in container, general cargo, bulk cargo and passenger terminals, Beihai Port provides comprehensive transport services to domestic and overseas trade enterprises and builds trade ties with 218 ports in 98 countries and regions around the world.
King & Wood Mallesons acted as the legal counsel for the listed company. This project was led by partners Wang Lixin, Jiao Fugang and Xiao Lan. Partner Zhang Yongliang provided strong support to the project.
