Kemp Little presents Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation with £11,546 cheque
Kemp Little has presented Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation with a cheque for £11,546. The money was raised over the last 15 months by employees who participated in a range of activities, including a 10k run, bake sales, a concert, quiz nights, raffles and carol singing.
Kemp Little matched the amount raised by the charity committee to make the grand total.
Laura Irving, director of fundraising at Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, was presented with the cheque at Kemp Little’s offices by partner and head of the firm’s charity committee Kathryn Dooks.
Irving explained to staff at the presentation that the money would be used to fund UCL-based scientist Sam James in his work to improve the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
