The sixth annual Balkan Energy Finance Forum (BEFF 2013) was held in Zagreb on 16–17 October 2013. Its aim was to unite key players from across the energy industry, both from the private and public sectors, and to tackle recent issues facing the development of the energy market.
Particular emphasis was placed on national and regional energy policy, recent trends in renewables tariff reductions and how developers will continue to find solid yields.
Josip Marohnic, an attorney at law in co-operation with Karanovic & Nikolic, spoke on the opening panel on regional electricity market trends and analysis and chaired the second-day panel on the status and coupling trends and efforts in electricity grids in the region.
