Karanovic & Nikolic has participated at the World Services Group (WSG) 2013 Energy Group Seminar hosted by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Düsseldorf.
Day one of the seminar was dedicated to social events organised for the participants. The members of WSG had a chance to visit the former Zollverein coal mine in the Ruhr area that is now a World Heritage Site and open for the public.
Day two was dedicated to presentations made by WSG members and several clients. Attendees learned more about the technology of offshore wind parks (presented by representatives from Drees & Sommer) and heard about the type of administrative problems RWE has when operating in eastern Europe.
Miloš Vučković presented on conventional energy in the western Balkans and provided the participants with information on possible investment opportunities in the sector. The overall impression was that the western Balkans is a region to be watched in the upcoming period.
