Stephen Jurgenson is a partner in Pillsbury’s Abu Dhabi office and focuses his practice on power, renewables, clean energy, water, oil and gas, liquefied natural gas, mining and infrastructure business sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He also regularly advises clients in the real-estate, airports, roads and rail industries.
His core disciplines include project finance and infrastructure, construction, banking and institutional finance, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions.
Jurgenson has been conducting business in the Gulf for more than 14 years. He has considerable experience advising on transactions in the power sector. In particular, he has advised on most of the IPPs and IWPPs that have taken place in the Gulf region. His practice extends to West Africa where he advises clients participating in power and oil and gas transactions.
