Bo-Eun Jung is a junior barrister with a growing reputation in her areas of specialism. In 2010, Jung was appointed special legal adviser to the South Korean Embassy.
She is regularly instructed in the full range of criminal cases in the Magistrates Court, the Crown Court and the Court of Appeal, for both the prosecution and the defence. Jung is experienced in acting on behalf of police officers charged with criminal offences.
Jung regularly appears before licensing committees and on appeal in magistrates courts all over the country as well as advising in a wide range of licensing matters. She is also experienced in the field of regulatory enforcement, in particular fire safety cases.
With considerable experience in regulatory and disciplinary proceedings, Jung spent nine months investigating, advising on and presenting cases nationally on behalf of the Health Professions Council.
She represents all types of interested persons at inquests and advises on judicial review proceedings, as well as regularly advising and appearing on behalf of requesting authorities and defendants in extradition matters.
