Darko Jovanovic is a partner in the banking and finance department in Karanovic & Nikolic.
Jovanovic advises clients on all aspects of banking and finance law and in particular has extensive experience in project and leveraged finance, privatisation, restructuring and refinancing, derivatives trading, as well as in both the life and non-life insurance business.
Jovanovic is registered as an attorney with the Belgrade Bar Association and is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Loan Market Association (LMA).
He has contributed to a number of publications in the area of banking and finance and insurance law. He was one of the authors of the KN Focus on Infrastructure Finance, published in 2009, which provides a legal overview of development, operation and financing of infrastructure projects. He has also contributed to the annual ‘White Book’ publication of the Foreign Investors Council.
Jovanovic is fluent in both English and Serbian (written and spoken).
