Investe São Paulo set to visit Mills & Reeve's Cambridge office in September
Mills & Reeve has announced that it will be welcoming Investe São Paulo, a not-for-profit organisation assisting businesses investing or trading in the São Paulo region of Brazil, at its Cambridge office on 20 September 2013.
The meeting is said to be a direct result of a visit to Brazil in June by Mills & Reeve partner Craig Hodgson, who is head of the firm’s food and beverage sector.
As well as attending the International Bar Association’s Mergers and Acquisitions Conference and the SCG Legal Conference — a worldwide network of law firms of which Mills & Reeve is a member — Hodgson met with UK Trade & Investment and Investe São Paulo officials to discuss assisting clients with their bilateral trade with Brazil.
Investe São Paulo’s Marina Dantas Guimarães, who is currently visiting the UK, will address a group of businesses that are contemplating trading or investing in Brazil, and in particular the São Paulo region, on 20 September.
