Intellectual property litigation
The Curtis Intellectual Property Litigation team combines the skills of seasoned trial lawyers with the technical expertise of registered patent attorneys and Ph.D-level advisers. Our litigators routinely appear on behalf of clients before federal and state courts throughout the US, arbitral panels and administrative bodies (including the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the World Intellectual Property Organization).
Members of the group offer particular expertise to clients operating in the consumer products, finance, life sciences, media and entertainment, oil and gas and technology industries.
Curtis provides clients with the expertise needed to enforce their intellectual property rights through litigation and to defend them from claims of infringement. The group regularly represents clients in intellectual property disputes relating to:
- Trade secrets
- False advertising
The Intellectual Property Litigation practice is based out of the firm’s New York office. The group works closely with the firm’s transactional intellectual property lawyers, as well as members of other Curtis practice groups, to serve clients across the US and around the world.
