Ince & Co head of admiralty named maritime lawyer of the year at Lloyd's List awards
Lloyd’s List has awarded Captain Faz Peermohamed, the head of Ince & Co’s admiralty team, the Global Maritime Lawyer of the Year 2013 prize.
In recent years, Peermohamed has regularly been involved in protecting seafarers from unfair criminalisation, of which the loss of the Prestige off the coast of Spain and subsequent trial of the vessel’s master is a high-profile example.
The Lloyd’s List Global Awards 2013 were presented to celebrate achievements in the global maritime industry on 1 October at the Lancaster Hotel, London.
