Housing Magazine quotes Winckworth Sherwood’s Louise Leaver
Winckworth Sherwood partner and head of social-housing finance Louise Leaver has been quoted in Housing Magazine’s ‘Snapshot’ section, looking at the debate as to whether the housing crisis can be solved by delivering more social — rather than affordable — housing.
Leaver argues that the housing crisis cannot be solved in isolation and it may well take some radical solutions, including the removal of borrowing caps for local authorities or reclassifying their borrowings outside of public sector debt, to increase the supply of social housing.
