Hogan Lovells appoints Don McGown to its London corporate practice
Hogan Lovells has recruited partner Don McGown to join its London corporate practice. He joins on 3 February 2014.
McGown was until recently a partner at Allen & Overy, a role he had fulfilled since 1990. He has acted for a number of high-profile clients including 21st Century Fox on the $10bn (£6bn) spin-off of its publishing and print businesses and DS Smith on its $2bn reverse acquisition of SCA Packaging.
He primarily advises on international mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring and has significant sector expertise in telecommunications and media and financial services.
McGown has worked internationally, including in New York and Hong Kong, and has a broad geographic perspective as well as strong corporate track record.
