Hogan Lovells has advised the trustees of the Kodak Pension Plan (KPP) in the UK on the implementation and completion of a comprehensive settlement of its claims against Eastman Kodak Company (EKC).
This included the acquisition of EKC’s French Personalized Imaging (PI) and Document Imaging (DI) businesses. The Paris office of Hogan Lovells advised KPP in that respect and the deal closed on 1 October 2013.
The Paris team was led by corporate partner Jean-Marc Franceschi, who worked with counsel Laure Calice (employment law) and associates Virginie Aidan (tax), Julia Gaspard (real estate) and Thomas Saint-Loubert-Bié (corporate).
EKC’s PI and DI businesses were advised in Paris by Sullivan & Cromwell on the corporate aspects and Proskauer Rose on the employment law aspects of the deal.
