Anthony Haycroft has significant experience in advising and representing healthcare professionals in General Medical Council, General Dental Council, FHSAA and PCT tribunals and in Administrative Court appeals from GMC hearings. He also acts in all forms of disciplinary hearings.
Haycroft defended in the first case brought by the then Health Care Commission regarding an unlicensed clinic.
In clinical negligence he covers all areas up to and including obstetrics, gynaecology, brain injuries and cerebral palsy, inquests (including high-profile jury inquests). His personal injury practice encompasses brain injury, child abuse, criminal injuries compensation, spinal injuries, sports injuries, orthopaedic injuries, industrial disease, stress claims, vascular injuries. In Dr Hassler v Capper Haycroft won damages of €4m in a contested PI case.
