Gateley corporate and real-estate lawyers advise on Philpotts acquisition
A cross-discipline corporate and real-estate team from Gateley has advised on a deal that saw café chain Patisserie Valerie acquire the Philpotts sandwich business for an undisclosed sum.
The team was led by corporate partner Tom Durrant and real-estate senior associate James Madill.
The deal brings Patisserie Valerie’s UK presence to 137 outlets, with a total headcount of 2,800 staff. Philpotts will be the fifth brand to join the Patisserie Holdings group, which also includes Druckers, Baker & Spice and Flour Power City.
