Gateley advises on Newco and Foresight on complex buy-in/buy-out transaction
A team from Gateley has advised on a private-equity-backed buy-in/buy-out that saw Foresight Nottingham Fund, an investor in high-growth businesses within Nottinghamshire, make a £1.5m investment into Crowle Wharfe Engineers (CWE).
CWE is a provider of safety-critical end-to-end engineering solutions for the rail, energy and steel industries. The investment provides development capital to drive growth and job creation. The business has grown steadily in recent years and, with new investment from Foresight Nottingham Fund to unlock additional capacity, the company’s growth trajectory is forecast to accelerate.
The Gateley team, led by corporate partner Mark Rutherford with assistance from corporate associate Victoria Bandy, acted on the deal for Newco and Foresight Nottingham Fund.
