FPDA honours Hogan Lovells lawyer Parker Thomson with the L Clayton Nance Award
Hogan Lovells has announced that the Florida Public Defender Association (FPDA) recently honoured lawyer Parker Thomson with the L Clayton Nance Award.
At its annual awards dinner in Palm Beach, the FPDA recognised Thomson for his contributions towards improving the state of indigent defence in Florida by representing the Public Defender pro bono for five years in excessive workload litigation.
Since 2008, Thomson and other lawyers from the Miami office have represented the Public Defender of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida in his effort to obtain relief from excessive caseloads.
