Financial News names Pamela Thompson from Eversheds in influential women list
Pamela Thompson, partner and head of the financial services team at Eversheds, has been named as one of the 100 most influential women by Financial News in its 2013 list.
FN100 Women is the magazine’s editorial pick of the most influential female executives working in European financial markets. This year’s FN100 Women focuses on those who are spotting opportunities in the post-crisis world.
It reports: ‘More than five years since the onset of the financial crisis, the rules are still changing. But despite the seemingly endless uncertainty about financial regulation and stop-start economic growth, these women are doing deals and growing revenues.
‘Thompson and her team were the only private practice law firm to be involved in the UK Treasury’s consultation on the competitiveness of the UK for the asset management industry, which resulted in the government’s Investment Management Strategy, which launched in March.’
