Eversheds advises on company merger
Teams from the German, UK and Hong Kong offices of Eversheds have advised certain shareholders of Columbus Holding on the €70.7m (£60m) merger of German-based Cybex and Hong Kong-listed Goodbaby, the largest supplier of baby strollers in China, North America and Europe.
The transaction enables Goodbaby to establish a direct distribution network in continental Europe (Cybex has branches in Austria, the UK, France, Italy and the Netherlands as well as its German headquarters) and to expand its product portfolio to include premium child-safety car seats.
The Eversheds team was jointly led by partners Christophe Samson in Munich and Antony Walsh in the UK and also included Anthony Cross (UK) and Kurt Lau (Hong Kong).
