DLA Piper wins M&A Advisor Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year award
DLA Piper has been awarded the M&A Advisor Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year (under $250m or £160m) for its representation of Synergy Health in its private acquisition of SRI/Surgical Express Inc.
Synergy Health is known for its work in outsourced sterilisation services to the medical device market, hospitals and other global healthcare providers.
The DLA Piper team that led the acquisition consisted of Joshua Kaye (Miami), Adam Rogers (Miami) Jonathan Klein (New York) and Tristram Cleminson (New York), with support from Gina Zawitoski (Baltimore), Amy Beckstead (Austin), Paolo Pasicolan (Washington DC), Dale Lazar (Reston), Ryan Compton (Washington DC), Mike Bedke (Tampa), Stephanie Kane (Tampa), Dawn Stern (Washington DC) and Richard Rector (Washington DC), among others.
DLA Piper also won the M&A Advisor M&A Deal of the Year (between $10m and $50m) award for its role in the acquisition of Eclipse Therapeutics by Bionomics, as well as the Corporate/Strategic Acquisition of the Year (over $50m to $100m) award for the sale of Trident Microsystems.
