DLA Piper represents Groupon in acquisition of online fashion retailer Ideeli

DLA Piper has represented Groupon in its acquisition of Ideeli, a New York-based online fashion retailer, for $43m (£26m).

Founded in 2007, Ideeli provides discounted access to top brands in apparel, accessories and home décor. The acquisition is said to enhance Groupon’s fashion offerings and industry relationships with strategic brands.

The DLA Piper team representing Groupon was led by corporate partner Greg Grossman and included Stephanie Wheat and Phyllis Kaplan in Chicago; Stacy Paz and Shane Nix in Silicon Valley; Mark Boxer, Gina Durham and Shannon Mo in San Francisco; Jennifer Kashatus in Washington DC; Erin D’Angelo in New York; and Ian Boardman in Sacramento.
