DLA Piper lawyers feature in 'Rising Stars' list
DLA Piper has announced that four lawyers have been named to Law360’s ‘Rising Stars’ list, which recognises lawyers under the age of 40 with impressive legal accomplishments in their respective practice groups.
A total of 163 lawyers were selected from 1,000 nominees considered by Law360’s editors. The DLA Piper lawyers recognised are: Joshua Kaye, health; Matthew Satchwell, intellectual property; Erin Gibson, international trade; and Christopher Campbell, product liability.
Kaye, co-chair of DLA Piper’s US healthcare sector and based in the Miami office, concentrates his practice on healthcare mergers and acquisitions and the development of innovative business models within the healthcare sector. He advises clients in all aspects of federal and state healthcare regulatory matters, including anti-kickback, self-referral laws, state licensure, corporate practice of medicine and dentistry, certificate of need, insurance laws and HIPAA.
Satchwell, a partner in DLA Piper’s Chicago office and a member of the intellectual property and technology practice and patent litigation group, focuses his practice on representing clients in the automotive device, semiconductor, integrated circuit, navigation, mobile communications devices, power electronics and communications technology industries. He has experience representing clients in patent jury trials, ITC trials and inter partes reviews.
Gibson, a partner in DLA Piper’s San Diego office and a member of the intellectual property and technology practice and patent litigation group, concentrates on civil trial practice in federal courts with an emphasis on patent litigation and ITC proceedings.
Campbell, a partner in DLA Piper’s New York office and a member of the litigation practice, is experienced in all phases of litigation, including first-chairing jury and bench trials in state and federal courts and arguing appeals. He has represented pharmaceutical, automotive and insurance companies in the US and worldwide and regularly consults in risk management, contract litigation and other commercial areas.
