DLA Piper hires investment funds partner
DLA Piper has appointed James O’Donnell as a partner in the investment funds team in London. He joins the firm from Debevoise & Plimpton.
Prior to entering the legal profession, O’Donnell served as a lieutenant in the Royal Navy. He trained at Allen & Overy.
The appointment of O’Donnell comes shortly after a number of significant hires into DLA Piper’s London corporate team — namely private equity partner Anu Balasubramanian and M&A partners Patrick Somers and Rob Salter.
