DLA Piper appoints Linos Choo as shipping partner
DLA Piper has appointed Linos Choo as a partner in the international shipping team, part of the litigation and regulatory group.
Choo was formerly a senior associate in the shipping team at DLA Piper before moving to Squire Sanders (now Squire Patton Boggs) as a partner in 2010.
Specialising in all aspects of marine work, Linos’s practice focuses on shipping, commodities and international trade finance. His experience includes
complex charterparty, bills of lading, MOA, FFA, shipbuilding, ship finance, international sale of goods and maritime cross-border insolvency litigation and arbitration.
His clients include shipowners, charterers, P&I clubs, major commodities trading houses and banks involved in the finance of international trade.
