DLA Piper announces 45 partnership promotions across the firm
DLA Piper has announced that 45 lawyers have been promoted to the partnership. The promotions are effective from 1 January 2014 in the US and 1 May 2014 for EMEA and Asia-Pacific and were made across a spectrum of practice areas throughout 12 countries.
Across the firm’s practice groups globally, corporate saw the largest intake of new partners with 13 promotions, followed by litigation and regulatory with 12 and intellectual property and technology with nine.
The real-estate group had four promotions with a further three in tax, two in restructuring and one each in finance and projects and employment.
There were 21 promotions in the US, 10 across continental Europe, seven in the UK, one in the Middle East, two in Asia and a further four in Australia.
